New Residents for Diagon Alley........

Look who has arrived at Diagon Alley. A cheeky toddler who is waiting for her Mummy to finish the shopping. Although she seems quite happy with her lollipop at the moment I think she shouldn't be left for too long!

She and her pram were made for me by the super talented Jain Squires of Giddy Kipper Characters. I asked for a sitting up kiddie for the street and as usual Jain has excelled.
The pram is also beautiful and is the perfect carriage for my little witchy toddler.
I also could not resist my new ghostly gentleman from Julie of Bellabelle Art Dolls.

Although there is not any mention of there being ghostly inhabitants in Diagon Alley I have decided that my shops will have a few ghosts hanging around. This gentleman just screamed "Flourish & Blotts" at me.
He has a book and library stairs after all, plus a tiny ghost mouse.
He is also just perfect and beautifully made as are all Julie's pieces. I know both ladies are working hard producing lots of new pieces for 2011 and I can't wait to see what they come up with.
Thank you Jain and Julie for two delightful additions to the Alley.

  6. Janice these are superb! I remember seeing the ghostly man on Julie's blog, but the little girl in the pram is delightful! I bet you are chuffed to bits. :o))

I only have loose plans for character's so far for my own Diagon Alley, but I'm no hurry to get them just yet, there will be quite a few. :o))

  8. Well what can I say...you are so right Kate - once you start, you can't stop!

I did always want the Alley to be fully occupied and bustling with all different types of characters. This is one project that needs to feel alive with people and animals. It is a bustling and colourful place. Well that's my excuse anyway!

After the retirement of the wonderful Nikki I keep thinking I live in fear of another of my favourites going on to different pastures before I manage to finish!
So don't even think about it Jain and Julie! Ha! Ha!
