Parcels for Slug and Jiggers.....

I have made these parcel packs for Slug and Jiggers that I think I am going to hang from the ceilings with 'invisible' thread.
 They are orders waiting for Hogwart's students to come and collect. Simply pieces of balsa covered with parchment/baking paper and then labelled with a few familiar names. The string is embroidery thread that I have separated to make thinner and then coated with PVA to stiffen it up.
 Plus a couple of crates for the potion workshop on the first floor.
The dragon eggs are actually wasabi peas that I will grunge up a little more. A much better use for them than actually eating them, yuk! Definitely an acquired taste and I have yet to acquire it!

      Hi Margaret, yes the idea is that they look like they are simply floating near the ceiling. I will try anyway!!

    Love the parcels Janice! Such a brillaint idea, and I love the little labels and the thread!
    Also love those filled crates! Can't wait to see more proegress on the upstairs of the apothecary :D

    LOL Wasabi peas, I think they are ghastly too and you have found a far better use for them! ;o)

    I love the parcels Janice! I think that brown paper packages tied up with strings really is one of my Fave- or- ite things! hehe Your crates are looking really good too! What a creative use for wasabi peas, Dragon eggs! How clever!

      Hi Eilzabeth, I am not too happy with the string and have been looking at crochet thread this week as a better option for more parcels for the other shops. It looks a little heavy I think but....I am not, not, not going to change them. Move on Janice!!
